Introducing Spanish/English bilingualism, Lil' Libros encourage parents to read to their children at the earliest age--focusing on subjects they are familiar with, while making it fun and rewarding for both parent and child. Eva Peron's legacy has inspired many around the world. Better known as Evita, her story started in a small town in Argentina and continued as she used her position as First Lady to fight for women and the working class.

Toddler-PreS-The latest entries in the board book publisher's bilingual first concepts series explore the life of a powerful figure in South American history and a Latin American holiday tradition. In Evita, little readers learn key opposites via images that also illustrate the impact of Argentina's First Lady Eva Perón. The spare art and bold text (done in black or white) pop against jewel-tone backgrounds. In Tres Reyes, the images are more fanciful, depicting "purple sheep/ovejas moradas" and "green donkeys/burros verdes." Both colorful and expressive entries will delight tykes and caregivers alike.
