K A Gerrard

Kelly (K. A.) Gerrard was born and raised in Southern California, and moved to Great Britain in 1989. Her experience serving Super Safari sundaes to tourists at the San Diego Zoo inspired her to write My Family is a Zoo. When not writing, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and their dog, Ruby.

Emma Dodd is the acclaimed author and illustrator of Dog's Colorful Day, I Am Small, and many other books for children. She is the illustrator of numerous others, including I Love My Mommy, written by Giles Andreae. She lives in Surrey, England, with her husband, two children, several chickens, and their beloved, occasional hat-wearing Jack Russell terrier, Buzz.
