Joe Hutchins was born in San Francisco, California. He studied engineering and got a degree in photography, which has been his passion since he bought his first camera, a Pentax K1000, when he was 12 years old. He lives in Harlem, NYC, with his beloved wife, pet cockatiel and two goldfish.
