Aliki Brandenberg

Aliki has written and illustrated many books -- both fiction and nonfiction -- in her long career. They are enjoyed by readers throughout the world. Her books reflect her many interests; her travels to Greece, Switzerland, and other international destinations; and her love of children and life. She has also illustrated over 100 books written by other authors, including her husband, Franz Brandenberg.
Aliki was born in Philadelphia into a Greek family that valued and nurtured literacy and creativity. A long-time resident of London, England, Aliki now lives in New York.
