If she could,
Andrée Poulin would read from morning to night -- in fact, her love of reading is what brought her to writing in the first place. After working as a journalist for many years, she went into international development, then began writing picture books and novels dealing with friendship, empathy, tolerance, poverty, and solidarity. Poulin is a TD Canadian Children's Literature Award winner and three-time Hackmatack Children's Choice Book Award finalist.
Martina Tonello is an illustrator and an apprentice carpenter. She loves to discover hidden treasures, such as secret pathways in forests or villages tucked away in valleys.
