In-Person Summer Reading Book Fair

An in-person book fair stocked with books from your summer reading list, as well as other great reads, is the perfect way to send students into the summer with a great book to read.

With a Bookelicious Summer Reading Book Fair, you have complete control over the titles that are offered to your students. Many of our schools do a spring Scholastic Book Fair and separate opportunities for summer reading because they can’t ensure that required or suggested titles are included in the book fair. Our book fairs offer you the opportunity to offer your summer reading choices along with less work and more flexibility.

We also developed an online option for you to send home personalized links. These links allow parents to purchase summer reading books online through Bookelicious while earning money for your organization.

These links can be embedded in websites, LibGuides, emails, or other online materials that explain your summer reading assignments.

How could this work in my school?

School “A” has hosted an in-person book fair for many years. The process required lots of hands-on effort from the school librarian. By partnering with Bookelicious, we will be able to take on much of the ordering and processing duties. We also ensured the books were delivered directly to the school rather than requiring the librarian to transport them on their own. We also provided links that were embedded in emails, newsletters, and their summer reading LibGuide. At the end of the fundraiser, School A will receive 10% of all sales to put into the school library fund.

Can we track our earnings?

Yes! With your personalized summer reading links, you will be given access to a dashboard that allows you to see how much you’ve earned through your summer reading fundraiser.

How are payouts made?

If you’ve chosen to receive 10% of sales in commission, payouts are made on the 15th of the month. They will be issued through PayPal, Venmo, or check. If you’ve chosen to receive 20% in-store credit, you will be given a personalized code that can be used on books or programming purchases.
