The Incredible Change-Bots are Transformer-like creatures who take the form of vehicles like trucks, golf carts, and cement mixers, but after an "incredible change," they turn into anthropomorphic fighting machines with laser guns and epic rivalries and a great thirst for energy to fuel their battles. Instead of continuing the saga of the Change-Bots, this work collects material and ephemera that did not appear in the previous Change-Bots graphic novels (Top Shelf), including shorter comics from fan club newsletters, artwork that appeared in other publications, art shows, and designs for unproduced Change-Bots action figures. VERDICT Although this volume is loaded with appealing and well-executed content, it will find an appreciative audience only at libraries where the Incredible Change-Bots have a solid fan base.—Sarah Reid, Broome County Public Library, Binghamton, NY
