Quintanilla's colorful, expressive art and Burnell's infectiously whimsical tone make their own good team... more sparkly, delightfully silly fun for Unicorn and Yeti fans.

School Library Journal

K-Gr 1-This second entry in the series follows three separate adventures of two unlikely mythical creature friends who are honest with each other, listen to each other, and are willing to try new experiences together. Characters speak in color-coded speech bubbles (orange for Yeti and purple for Unicorn) and each adventure is contained in a short chapter which can be read alone. Taken together, the stories show a special friendship. The tales have humor (a ball gets stuck on Unicorn's horn) and some magic (Unicorn can make ice skates and hot cocoa appear when needed). The cheerful illustrations and buoyant text will be extremely appealing to children, particularly given the current unicorn frenzy. VERDICT An engaging addition for all elementary school libraries.-Sally James, South Hillsborough Elementary School, CA
