DR. GARY WEITZMAN is a veterinarian and president of the San Diego Humane Society, former CEO of the Washington Animal Rescue League, and former host of public radio's Animal House. His other books include National Geographic Kids How to Speak Dog: A Guide to Decoding Dog Language, National Geographic Kids How to Speak Cat: A Guide to Decoding Cat Language, National Geographic Kids Dog Breed Guide, and National Geographic Kids Cat Breed Guide.
