Charlie Brown's Christmas Stocking (Peanuts Seasonal Collection)

by Charles M Schulz (Author)

Charlie Brown's Christmas Stocking (Peanuts Seasonal Collection)
Reading Level: 4th − 5th Grade

Created by Charles Schulz himself, Charlie Brown's Christmas Stocking is an adorable little package that collects two of the best "extras" for the Peanuts comic strip from the '60s: two Christmas-themed stories written and drawn for Good Housekeeping and Woman's Day magazines, respectively.

"Charlie Brown's Christmas Stocking" comprises 15 original captioned vignettes featuring the entire Peanuts cast circa 1963. "The Christmas Story" (1968) is an original tale in which Lucy and Linus each explain the meaning of the holiday to Snoopy. The book also includes story notes and a pocket-sized biography of Schulz.
