School Library Journal
K-Gr 3-In this contemporary send-up of Clement C. Moore's poem, a family overwhelmed by holiday preparations comes to realize that "Christmas is about love./And we have quite enough." Energetic, exaggerated cartoon illustrations accompany the lengthy, unevenly rhymed text, which scans awkwardly and does not easily lend itself to sharing aloud. Readers searching for the true meaning of Christmas will want to look elsewhere.-S. P. Copyright 2002 School Library Journal, LLC Used with permission.
