Space enthusiasts will flip for this new title, part of the Read for a Better World: Space series! It begins with a series of suggested questions that educators can ask students as they read, as well as details they can point out if they are reading together. Full-color graphics and designs will grab and maintain readers' attention. The font is large and easy to read. Though it presents basic information, this title perfectly accomplishes its purpose as a beginning informational text for younger readers. Readers will learn many facts about the moon, such as that [t]he moon moves around Earth. Each trip takes about one month. The back of the book contains a photo glossary, a list of resources for finding more information about the topic, and a STEM Snapshot section for educators that provides questions to ask readers after they have completed the text. This title would be a great informational text resource for students in primary grades. Reviewer Rating 4 -Children's Literature
