Any crafter who has tried origami knows not to assume that the simple folding of paper is really simple. For this collection of over 50 origami flowers, animals, and decorative objects, Klam launches right into her very detailed projects without first specifying the types of paper and other materials crafters will need. Aside from that missing information upfront, project directions are remarkably clear. From a simple windmill to a horse, heart, or elephant, each design includes different sizes, which will help determine what size paper is needed. Also included are level of difficulty; tips, such as using felt tip pens to personalize rabbit faces and for projects destined to be coasters or party invitations; and crucial step-by-step diagrams. Pure child's and adult's play for patient hands.
