Together, they make art and have fun creating things. To celebrate his birthday, Zoya wishes to make a special gift for Coco. She first attempts a yarn necklace, but the yarn keeps slipping. Next, she aims for frosting dog biscuits with white icing, until her mother informs her that Coco can't eat the icing. Stumped as to what she should do, Zoya eyes Coco's bowl and sets out to paint it gold. After some help from her mom, Zoya has made the perfect gift for Coco's birthday. Each page has one to two simple sentences containing many sight words children will know, along with pictures that facilitate comprehension.
