Celebrate Poetry this April, 2023!
A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry often made up of 17 syllables spread across three lines. The first and third lines typically have five syllables, while the second line has seven syllables. Frequently, haiku poems are written about nature, or the seasons, but they don’t have to be. For more ideas, check out some of these fun poetry books that feature haikus!
